Poland is filled with interesting museums all throughout the wonderful cities there. The city of Krakow, in Poland, is the home of many of these lovely museums. One of the best museums in the city is the Jan Matejko House. This lovely and most interesting museum is dedicated to preserving the works and life of one of Poland’s most loved painters named Jan Matejko.

This lovely museum is in the former residence of the painter and has many works such as drawings and sketches located there for visitors to see. The museum has a small entry fee and is well worth the fee because it is so interesting. There is also a tour available in either Polish or even in the English language. Taking the tour is worth the time because you will learn much about the house and the great painter who once lived in the beautiful old house.
