 "Wow factor"
Fantastic hotel , could not be in a better location. The views over the square were amazing. Krakow was beautiful and i will deffinitly love to visit again . If i ever get opperutinity to go again we will stay in the same hotel. The location and beautiful rooms made our trip a fantastic one . Also great value for money. Great service and friendly staff.

Pros: The view, cleanliness, convenience, and historical quality of the hotel are unparalleled for krakow.
Cons: Yes: accessing the hotel is impossible without a human guide; at minimum request a detailed map with unequivocal directs by car in the maze of streets that surround the main square. it took us nearly an hour to locate the hotel.

 "The room (24) was great"
Pros: The room (24) was great. all rooms overlook the main square with fantastic views. a bit noisy at night with saturday night club music booming out from the surrounding area but the rooms have reasonable double glazing which gets rid of a lot of the noise. the room had everything that we needed, tea/coffee facilities, good shower, safe, flat screen tv and even an umbrella! breakfast was adequate. the staff were really good, they all stood up when you went into the reception area. the film star hilary swank had stayed in this hotel a few days before, we felt like royalty.
Cons: We had trouble with the airconditioning unit on our first night as it did not switch off properly and we had a noise coming on and off throughout the night which sounded like a toilet flushing in the next room. this was sorted by our second night and i think that there was an element of pilot error on our part.

 "This was a small hotel in a fantastic location, everything we wanted to do..."
Pros: This was a small hotel in a fantastic location, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. the hotel staff recommended an excellent restaurant and were attentive at all times. the added bonus that you don't often get in european hotels was tea & coffee making facilities in the room. we had a view over the market square, bathrobes and slippers which were all very welcome in temperature around -15 centigrade.
