There are many great and beautiful churches in the lovely country of Poland. Most of these wonderful churches are located in the cities of Krakow and Warsaw. Although both of these cities are nice, Warsaw is the home of one of the nicest churches you can visit in Poland, called St. Jon’s Cathedral. This lovely cathedral is one of the oldest churches in all of Warsaw. This cathedral is in the Gothic style and is something amazing to go and visit.
Unfortunately, like many other churches and fine buildings in Poland, especially in Warsaw, this beautiful church was completely destroyed during the Second World War. The building was used as a main defense building during the Warsaw Uprising, which is how it was hit so badly. Luckily the church was restored to its original beauty and one can go and visit this historic and lovely building on a trip to Warsaw.
