There mare many lovely monuments located all over the great country of Poland. The country has seen so many good and not so good times there are many things that need mentioning in the form of monuments. In the city of Warsaw there is a monument that is on a happier not than all of the sad memorials to the lost lives of the country during the war. The lovely monument is called the Monument to Adam Mickiewicz.

This lovely monument is dedicated to the poet from Poland named Adam Mickiewicz. This lovely old monument was shown for the first time in the year 1898, and has brought many visitors to the spot in the city each year. The unveiling of the monument was to commemorate the 100 years that had passed from the date of his birth until that year. The statue is of the poet in his usual clothing looking up into the lovely Polish sky.
