Although it is called Staszic Palace, this lovely building in Warsaw was never used as a palace. However it is a delightful building to visit when on a trip to Poland even if it is not a palace. The building dates back from the year 1820 through 1823. The building was built from a foundation that was started by Stanislaw Staszic, which is who the building was named after. Unlike many of the buildings in the city of Warsaw this Staszic Palace survived the Second World War without much severe damage.
The building is a great place to go and see and the architecture is stunning, in the current times the lovely Staszic Palace is the home of the seat for the Polish Academy of Sciences. This is just one of the many great lovely buildings you will be able to go and see when you take a lovely trip to Poland.
