Poland has many wonderful monuments that represent people and events in the country’s history that are of great importance and significance. The city of Warsaw in Poland has many of these great monuments located all over the city. One of the monuments located in Warsaw that one should visit while there is called The Little Insurgent. The monument is a beautiful statue a little boy dressed in a soldier’s uniform which is way too big for him.

The Little Insurgent Monument is there to commemorate the many children that tragically lost their lives during the Warsaw Uprising in the year 1944. These brave children died fighting and this statue is a lovely monument to all the brave children. The Little Insurgent is a very popular monument among visitors to the city and is quite often visited and photographed. The statue is just one of the many great monuments you will find in the beautiful city of Warsaw.
