I flew to Warsaw from Seoul, and was very tired and jet-lagged, but they were doing construction in a neighboring room, and woke me up at 8AM every day with the sound of drills and hammering. If I had been able to sleep before 3 AM, this would not have been such a problem, but the impossibility of taking a nap any of the days was disappointing. The room was new and clean, but the door handles were sharp, and as I brushed against one while walking down the hall, my (expensive) jacket ripped. I politely explained the situation to the staff, and she contacted the manager, who sent word (without ever coming to my room or meeting me directly) that the door handle was *not* sharp, and that it was my fault that my jacket ripped. I was quite surprised by this. I had not expected them to pay for a new jacket, but to apologize and possibly to pay for a tailor to sew the rip (or at least give me a sewing kit, which I did not have), but the manager's attitude was very hostile. I sent her an email, still very polite, explaining that I was beginning a 3-week business trip through Europe, and now I had a hole in my jacket, and inviting her to come to my room and touch the door handle so that she could see that it was very sharp. She never replied to my email or came to see that the door handle was, in fact, sharp.Overall, her poor attitude, and the fact that I couldn't catch up on sleep, outweighed the clean, new rooms, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Palace of Culture is a short walk from here, and other attractions including Dramatic Theatre can also be reached on foot. You may enjoy a visit to Warsaw Zoo, which isn't hard to reach. Museums in the near surroundings include Museum of Technology and Zacheta Museum. This property is located near Maira Konopnicka.
