Poland has many wonderful monuments through out all of its lovely cities. The cities of Krakow and Warsaw are the locations of some of the best monuments in Poland. Warsaw is the location for a monument to Chopin and many other artists and authors. In addition to the monuments to artists there is a lovely monument to the Cardinal named Stefan Wysznski. This very famous Polish cardinal was a man who resisted the communist party and tried to help Poland by allowing Pope John Paul II to visit the country in the year 1979.
The monument dedicated to the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski is a statue of the cardinal and is in a lovely location next to the St. Joseph the Guardian’s Church. The Monument is a great place to begin a trip around the city to see all the monuments, theatres and museums that there is in the city of Warsaw.
