Lagos Hotels and Accommodation
Lagos is a town in the district of Faro, in the region of Algarve. Because of its marvelous beaches and stunning scenery, Lagos attracts a large number of tourists each year. Forte Ponta de Bandeira is a 17th century fort that once defended the entrance of the harbour. The most interesting structure in Lagos is the 18th century baroque Igreja de Santo Antonio. Its gilded interior was made possible by gold taken from Brazil.
