A superb location for visiting the city and enjoying it's ambience and restaurants. The hotel is an old grand building with narrow corridors and with attentive staff. The amenities on offer are limited, a small breakfast room, a quiet bar. Yet it is a perfect spot for a short visit when sightseeing is the main goal. the bedroom was large,immaculate, with a good bed and adequate bathroom.

Pros: Well positioned for exploring lisbon. helpful staff and comfortable room. but, our booking via easybook.com, had not been forwarded to the hotel. luckily there were rooms available.

Cons: We had a poor room, dark and small situated below ground at the rear of hotel. i am sure the rooms on teh upper floors were better
