 "Good value hotel close to the centre"
The hotel was very good value and convenient for all the tourist attractions. The staff were friendly, and even arranged an early breakfast for us one day when asked. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but no problem for a short stay. The only drawback is that it's in an area with lots of bars that open late, so not so good if you want to go to bed early.

Pros: The pensao cristal room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. we had to make an early start and breakfast was delivered to our room at 6:15 am. wonderful service!
Cons: Unfortunately, the pensao cristal, while very central, was in a noisy location and it was difficult to get to sleep with the noise of people partying.

Pros: Great location, easy access to main attractions, very reasonable price
Cons: There are two bars/clubs next door and it is really noisy, especially during week-end. if you are not party-goer, or at least have to wake up very early saturday/sunday morning, then probably you have to seek for something else.

Pros: Friendly staff, well situated hotel, clean. good experience all round.
Cons: Large crowds outside late at night due to there being a couple of popular bars in the street, but no problems with this. noise kept down by double, double glazing.
