Vila Real Hotels and Accommodation
Vila Real is a district, municipality and a town in the northern region of Portugal. The district is located in between the spectacular gorges of the Cabril and Corgo Rivers and is overlooked by the masses of the Alvão and Marão mountains. Quite an interesting iron bridge crosses the Corgo linking the old to the new township. The now world famous Casa Mateus, an aristocratic country manor from the early 18th Century 3 Km is to the northeast. The casa’s façade is which appears on the label of the internationally famous Rose wine.
