How to reach the Hotel Athena Palace?From Prague Airport: Take bus nr. 100 and get off at metro stop 'Zlicin'. The bus journey takes about 18 minutes. The hotel staff were lovely and very welcoming.We had a kettle, for which we were grateful.
but, it was enamel .the handle became very hot and was dangerous to hold when pouring water .HIGGINS

A great little hotel. the staff are so nice, the included breakfast is pretty good and the location is only a 15-20 walk to the main square. the beds were also very comfortable. Doesn't look like a 4 star from the outisde, but walk through the door and it's pretty good. we had a man claiming to be looking for a taxi walk into our room (we should have had it locked). otherwise it's a good place.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and informative; the hotel is situated about a 10 minute comfortable walk from all the main attractions, the rooms are adequate for a short stay, but a little on the small side for anything greater thyan a long weekend. the public transport system in prague is excellent and the directions to prague from the airport on the website are very good and the cost very reasonable £1.25/ person. however, directions from the metro station to the hotel which is only a 3 minute walk needs to be included as you can exit the station at one of 5/6 exits and be in totally the wrong place. From the website we expected to have tea/coffee making facilities available in our room and this is not the case, (very disapointing).Anonymous

Breakfast choice was great. staff were helpful when asked. free internet very useful.Suggested that we would have a corner bath, suggesting large bathroom. in reality we had a normal bath and average sized bathroom. the room was quite narrow too which meant you could only access one side of the bed as the other was tight to the wall.Anonymous
