Clean, quiet, excellent service, breakfast was excellent buffet style with a couple hot options like scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes (beyond the normal european buffet with cold cuts and fruit).
Didn't appreciate that the lobby was "smoking" but that's just a personal preference and we didn't spend much time there anyway.

Every aspect of our stay at the hotel roma was excellent. the staff at reception were helpful and informative, the breakfast menu (which changed slightly each day)was excellent as were the dining room staff. the rooms were spotless and cleaned each day by our marvellous marcela (i'm sorry i couldn't leave her a larger tip but i needed to retain some czech crowns for a final beer at the airport !). the hotel itself is modern, well-decorated and appointed and perfectly situated for use of the tram services which can quickly get you to any of the usual tourist locations or further afield. as a regular visitor to prague (15 times in the last few years) i would be more than happy to stay at the hotel roma again and will attempt to do so at my earliest opportunity.

Breakfast pretty good, though can get a bit busy depending on time. staff very welcoming, very responsive to requests. location is excellent - tourist office in the building, several good restaurants within 5 minute walk, tram stops in front of hotel (southbound) or only 2-3 minute walk (northbound).
Nothing really negative, just "niggly". bathroom window only had net curtain (though not that huge an issue) - some toiletries (eg, bath gel) not automatically replenished (but replaced whenever asked)

The staff were amazingly helpful and the hotel itself couldn't be better situated, being close to charles bridge and the little quarter
Got a little bit noisy in the evenings due to trams running past and the breakfast was a little bit substandard. we'd asked for a double room but got a twin instead
