Tulcea Hotels and Accommodation
Tulcea was originally founded as far back as the 7th century BC, and was known as Aegyssus. This town of over 100,000 inhabitants is perhaps most well known to the outside world for the Concursul George Georgescu, a highly regarded international music competition. When you stay in a cheap hotel in Tulcea you will find yourself in close proximity to the Danube Delta. This has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991, and is the biggest delta in Europe. It has over 300 species of birds and a vast array of plant life.
