Among other attractions that are only minutes away is the Pantheon on Via del Seminario, built by the architect Emperor Hadrian 2000 years ago, a huge, domed roof housing the tomb of Raphael, and the Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, a Gothic, 13th-century church in the centre of town that houses the tombs of wealthy Romans and priceless frescoes. The Capitol is the city hall, located on the Capitoline Hill. One of Rome's most elegant squares, it was designed by Michelangelo and features some of the city's primary classical sculptures and museums.
