By plane:
From Fiumicino airport: Take the Leonardo Express train or Terravision shuttle to the Rome Termini train station and continue as described below in by train.
From Ciampino airport: Take a Terravision shuttle for the Rome Termini train station or take the Schiffini shuttle for the Ciampino train station where the FM4 or FM6 train departs for the Rome Termini station every 10 minutes. From the Rome Termini train station, continue as described below in by train.
By car:
From all directions, take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and get off at exit # 1 Via Aurelia. Follow directions for Roma Centro/Città del Vaticano. Take Viale delle Mura Vaticane and follow the Vatican walls to Piazza Risorgimento. Cross the square and continue on via Crescenzio. This hotel was an absolute bargain. i was worried about booking a cheap two star hotel, but wanted a budget city break. the hotel standards were extremely high. the room was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could need. the cleanliness of the room was immaculate and the hotel staff were so friendly and really helpful. they gave us so much information about what to do, where to go and how to get there. the hotel was based right in between all the main attractions and was complete value for money. i couldn't fault a thing, it was a very cheap price for a very high standard hotel.i would definately recommend this hotel to others.
My magnifying make-up mirror (with suction pads which sticks onto the big bathroom mirror) disappeared from our hotel room. we assumed that it must have fallen off and broken and then been cleaned away by one of the cleaners. we tried to ask one of the cleaners, but she could not speak english and did not understand. we asked reception to find out what had happened to it, but never got to find out, as we had to return home.Anonymous

The position was excellent and the staff very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. however, there was a cupboard door hanging off and it actually came off in my hand when i opened it. the shower door was hanging off at the bottom and made it difficult to close. i didn't mention anything because we were there such a short time and as it was so clean i was not concerned. however, i regretted not mentioning it because they may have thought we caused the damage. The room itself was great. it was large, comfortable and private. the staff at reception were also very friendly and helpful which was very much appreciated. i found the location to be very good also, as it was close enough to be within reasonable walking distance to main landmarks (provided you have decent walking attire) and far enough when the hustle & bustle of central central rome became overwhelming.I felt a little bit of concern about security, as anyone on the street could waltz in and up to a room if they felt so inclined, though its a safe city so i suppose its quite unlikely. the reception is to the side of the entrance hallway accessing the rooms rather then within the hallway, which was a bit baffling when i first arrived because i couldn't see it, went up to the rooms, couldn't find anyone there and so came back down to the entrance door to ring the reception bell.Anonymous
