Zeer net , proper hotel op een paar passen van het station en de metro. ook te voet dichtbij de bezienswaardigheden.

Rome has been substantially cleaned up, so the neighborhood is no longer shady as previously described, it is like being in any other big city. you are around the corner from bus, subway and train stations. the rooms have been redone and are very nice with daily maid service. you get delicious cappucinos and a selection of various croissants and rolls for breakfast with butter and spreadable cheese, as well as cornflakes, milk and juice. the hotel is very secure.Only one staff member spoke english, he worked in the morning so if you don't know italian well the other staff are not helpful in any way. the hotel says it is quiet, but the walls are superthin and when there was a baby there we heard everything. however most guests do not bring in children that we saw.Guard

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. our first 2 nights the room was not so nice, very small, needed updating and the a/c did not work well. they immediately upgraded us to a beautiful room which had obviously been recently updated and it was very spacious. our stay was very pleasant.The entrance of the hotel is on the second floor and the main entrance is and it's elevator is a little deceiving and feels a little "gungy". but once you reach the entrance of the hotel itself, it is all good.Karen Diamond

Hotel reception staff spoke english & were friendly and helpful. rooms were cleaned everyday of our stay. this hotel is great value for money & a light breakfast is included in the price. it is a 2 minute walk from termini rail station and the metro rail service. i would definitely stay there on my next visit to rome. no i could'nt find anything negative about aquarium.Hoszowskyj

The staff was helpful, though i was lucky that i could understand some italian because they didn't try to speak englishOf the 5 different hotels we stayed at throughout europe on this trip, their breakfast was the worst- edible, but only juice and croissants. also the lift was a little scary, from the roman era i think...Anonymous

For the price paid we thought the hotel was well worth it. we had the room near to reception which was clean, but due to its location we thought it may be noisey but the other guest were quite so this was not a problem. if the hotel was full of roudy guests this room may have been a problem.Anonymous

The hotel staff were friendly enough and helpful, but on our last morning had to have breakfast in our room as there was no room in the breakfast room and as we had to leave early we couldn't wait. the cleanliness of the room i.e the floor was not very good and unless you left the towels on the floor of the bathroom you didn't get clean ones. The hotel was nice and the staff friendly and patient with me trying out my very basic italian, which i really wanted to try out. their english was amazing. breakfast was nice.It was very close to the train station, which was handy for public transport but a bit far out. but having said that we got to see more of the city than our friends who stayed right in the centre. we did walk a lot though.Anonymous

The staff were very friendly and offered help with regards to attractions etc... the breakfast was a typical continental breakfast.....croissants cereal etc...nice enough. the hotel was literally 2 mins from the termini railway st. handy if you're travelling by train.The photographs shown on the website were nothing at all like the hotel itself. its in a large shabby building and though the reception area is alright the rooms looked like someone had died in them. they were tiny and dark, the wall paper was ripped quite a bit from the walls all around the room, and although we booked a double room, we were given a tiny room...clearly for single use. when we asked to change we were given an equally dissapointing room, though slightly bigger. i have stayed in better kept hostels. the water in the showers was strange-...there appeared to be only enough hot water for one shower in the morning...my friend had a lovely hot shower but by the time i got in there in was cold. The staf were great and were always happy to help. the location was great and the breakfast, especially the espresso was a fantastic start to each day of our stay. i would stay here again for sure!The only downside was that the room smelt like smoke all the time.Philip McLeod
