Opened in 2007, the Aran Mantegna is located in a residential area full of tree-lined avenues, just a short walk from the via Cristoforo Colombo and E.U.R., and at about 5 km from the historic centre of Rome. Fiumicino Airport, the Colosseum and Roman Forum can be easily reached and the traditional Trade Fair of Rome is just around the corner. This 4 star hotel is a majestic six-storey building in steel, marble and crystal glass which externally creates a magical transparent and luminous effect, like a screen reflecting the Roman sky. The interior design and decorations are original and give a spacious and bright atmosphere to the whole structure. Its 323 rooms are sumptuosly furnished and equipped with all modern technology. The hotel is offering a wide range of other amenities designed to enhance the comfort of each guest: a high speed Internet Point, a bar, two restaurants, a conference centre for up to 1000 people and a garage. From the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road, reachable by all main incoming highways, take Exit 25 (EUR/Centro) and proceed towards via Cristoforo Colombo, following the centre direction.
By public transport:
From Termini railway station, take underground line B towards Laurentina and get off at Garbatella stop. Then take bus line 671. The nearest metro station, Marconi, is two kilometres from the hotel.
By airplane:
The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Termini station.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from the Anagnina underground station (line A). The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes.

The staff were courteous and very helpful. the location of the hotel was ideal for us - quiet and residential neighbourhood not too far to get into rome centre and this enabled us to enjoy the buzz of the city and retire to the calm of the hotel.

I asked for an iron & ironing board to use as my partner had flown in from the uk & his clothes were creased. i was told they did not have them as they had a laundry facility. firstly my partners clothes were clean & secondly we checked in late friday afternoon & the laundry facility was closed. a ironing facility would be great or if not at least advertise to future customers online the lack of this service. La prima volta che ho soggiornato in questo hotel, in una camera matimoniale classic, ho trovato tutto splendido e pulito, molto suggestivo lo specchio non specchio proprio davanti al letto.
La seconda volta nella prenotazione avevo richiesto il check-in anticipato (anche chiamando telefonicamente per non rischiare) e quando sono arrivato non era stata predisposta alcuna camera ed erano convinti che la prenotazione fosse per una singola anzichè una matrimoniale classic. dopo avergli mostrato copia della prenotazione mi hanno chiesto scusa e dato una camera: quasi la metà di quella che fanno vedere in foto in cui gia avevo soggiornato precedentemente, senza lo specchio-non-specchio, e in bagno quando ho fatto la doccia si è allagato tutto...

è stato molto professionale e dipsonibile.
Peccato per la mancanza di parcheggio interno gratuito e per la
