I had asked for 2 beds but they only had one king when we checked in. they were to move us the next day. when we got locked out of our rm-105, they had us stay in another room-104 for the night until they could fix the lock and then moved us to another great room with some space for the same price and a discount for our lack of luggage etc for one night. very friendly staff and helpful with all the room changes/problems. an excellent location, very central to all.
Our first room, 105 was very small. we had a 25" and 27" suitcase and couldn't open them due to no room. this should be a single room. request another room if you get this room.Anonymous

A fantastic location, walking distance to most of the main sites to see in rome. staff were helpful, and room was lovely, bathroom was great, bedroom was well presented (bed a touhc too hard for our liking) and room a little on the small side for 2 adults and a child in a sep bed!Nothing!Cecil Habib

Good location. clean.On arrival, we were informed by hotel staff that they had no room available for us and were transferring us to a hotel on the other side of rome. bearing in mind i had booked this room at the end of february'08, i felt that the hotel could have informed me of this prior to our arrival on 25th april'08. i was very disappointed with the quality of the hotel we were transferred to. the room was exceptionally small for two people and generally low quality. i was not happy with the manager of the boutique hotel trevi response to our situation. i found him to be very rude and patronizing and he offered no apology for what had happened. this unfortunately means i would not stay at the hotel again nor would i recommend it to others. Nice hotel which is well positioned (although can be noisy for some due to proximity of trevi fountain!). clean and obviously quite new.The wiring of the lights was quite entertaining in our room requiring a fiendishly complex arrangement of 5 switches in the right order to get them to come on and off! generally the impression was of a nice new hotel but it hadn't quite been finished properly yet! a quick bit of work by an electrician and a general decorator/fix-it man would improve things slightly!Anonymous

The boutique hotel trevi is spotless, everything new, nicely decorated as it just opened a few months ago. perfect, ideal location. the trevi fountain is right outside your door. all the historic sites are within easy walking distance. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to rome. nice breakfast included too!Anonymous

Excellent location in the middle of the city within 100m (south?) of trevi fountain. hotel staff very helpful. room was very good indeed (deluxe size). size of entrance belies that behind. continental breakfast selection extensive and of good quality. would recommend hotel. an excellent experience for a couple of over 50s...Breakfast room a little cramped and could be busy at times - but did not detract from stay. take time selecting local restaurants - those nearby a bit expensive.. better value and quality slightly further afield... this is not a criticism of hotel.Anonymous

The hotel is currently (mar08) brand new so the rooms and furniture appear untouched, modern and clean. the rooms are wood paneled and as a result very quiet. despite this hotel being right by the tourist mecca of the trevi fountain the double glazing keeps the noise from outside out too. perfect base for staying in this part of town.Its a shame the hotel has no bar - this would have been a nice addition. also the 2 girls serving breakfast were very moody and rude. despite the hotel claiming to serve breakfast until 10:30am they refused to make toast if you arrive any time later than 10am - as a result the inclusive breakfast didn't seem very appealing and we went else where after the 1st 2 days!Christine Clues

Wij hadden 4 overnachtingen geboekt maar werden door een overboeking geplaatst in het, verder van de stad gelegen maar 5 sterren, ambassadi hotel. op zich lijkt dit een upgrading maar de toegewezen kamer had geen uitzicht en was erg lawaaierig. bovendien vond ik het personeel kunstmatig vriendelijk. na 2 dagen belandden we in het trevi hotel en dit bleek een verademing. de bedden zijn ietwat hard maar het ontbijt fantastisch alsmede het personeel en de fantastisch uitziende kamers.Anonymous
