Buonarroti Home is placed at the Second Floor of an aristocratic building located at number 43 of Via Carlo Alberto street. Small and strategically located, this elegant guest house placed in a 1885 aristocratic building located in the heart of Rome in the Esqilino Area. Just outside the House, you can easily enjoy everything the eternal city can offer you.
Buonarroti Home is a charming property ideally situated in the historic centre of Rome, very close to all the main monuments, including the Colosseum and beautiful Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, and within walking distance of the Termini railway station.
This family-owned Home offers a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our friendly and familiar staff is willing to welcome you and help you with anything you might need in order to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.

By metro: We are 5 minutes walking distance from the main Railway station "Termini".
If you don't like walking you can take metro line A and your stop is "Vittorio
Emanuele"; when you will go out from the underground follow the direction
"Via Carlo Alberto", just 100 metres and you can find us.
By car: The property is easily accessed by the Grande Raccordo Anulare which is connected to all the main highways: follow the directions from any point of the Raccordo to the centro e then to Termini railway station. From there, turn left into via Cattaneo, left into via Turati, right into via Rattazzi and then right into via Carlo Alberto.
By train: From the main gallery at Roma Termini railway station, exit at via Giolitti and take via Gioberti in the direction of Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore. At piazza Santa Maria Maggiore turn left onto via Carlo Alberto and proceed until you reach number 43 on your right. The property is around a 5 minute walk from Termini station.
By airplane: An express train is available from Fiumicino airport to the Termini railway station.

The staff was great, free breakfast was a bonus, felt very safe with a staff member on hand 24 hours a day, which also allowed for no curfew, another bonus in rome! staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke english well. also had ac! did not have that in other italian cities at similarly priced hotels.Maureen Van Wyck

Friendly, helpful staff. very close walk from train station.
The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and i woke in the morning with bites on my body, either from flies or bed bugs. it was the only place we had stayed on our 3 week trip with carpeting. this was probably the source of the problem. i would not recommend this hotel.Anonymous

Hotel is in a very good location, 5 mins from termini and within walking distance of main historical sites. staff very pleasant and helpful.Entrance to building which hotel is in is off putting, peeling paint, single light bulbs on stairs. don't let this put you off. hotel is better than the building entrance.Anonymous

Staff were very helpful and chatty, spoke good english, and seemed set on making my stay as easy as possible.Elevator doesn't always work and it is a long way up those stairs!

We recently had a vacation in rome and stayed at buonarroti home b&b for a week. first of all i would like to thank all the reviewers before me for suggesting this hotel. i will surely suggest this warm-welcoming, cozy and good-value for money b&b in the middle of rome.
eventhough the breakfast is basic, their cappuchino is really good. the staff will help you out in any way they possibly can. given that it is family run businness you have a personal interaction with the owners. this hotel is literally a minute walk from the vittoria emmanuele metro a station and termini is about 5 min walk. there are lots and lots of pizzerias and other eating places within reach and the locality looked quite safe and quiet in the night.
i would surely would love to go to the same b&b the next time i am in rome.Anonymous

Very close to the train station and main metro line, so getting there and traveling around the city was really easy. but away from the main traffic road so quieter than would be expected for its location.
the staff were polite and helpful.
lovely clean bathroom! The room was tiny, with only enough room to walk around the bed and a couple cupboards to store clothes. but as its only somewhere to sleep and change, this wasnt a problem at all and i'd be happy to stay there again.Anonymous

Eenvoudig hotel, maar schoon. erg vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. hotel ligt niet op een top-locatie, maar zowel station als bezienswaardigheden zijn makkelijk en snel te bereiken. uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding: ik kom hier graag nog eens terug.
