Description
The Caprice hotel recently refurbished offers an intimate atmosphere joining with an attentive service. The 40 rooms, large and comfortable are with air condition and every modern furnishing with careful attention to details. An internet point on WI FI area is disposable. Just out of the hotel we find the magnificent via Veneto, a large tree-lined street with elegant shops and Cafes. After a short walk is there Villa Borghese, the biggest park in Rome: green fields, trees, fountains and small lakes, ancient Palaces as Galleria Borghese with its precious collections of sculptures and paintings among the most in Italy.

Friendly staff. good location.
Room was too small. no ironing facilites at all. having arrived from australia we needed to be presentable, but we were directed to a laundry some kms away to iron our clothes. an ironing board and iron from reception, or a laundry and ironing room would have been welcome.Anonymous

The rooms were always clean.The hotel staff gave our room away as they said there was a security risk on the credit card that i had reserved the rooms in earlier in april. so me and my partner had to spend the entire time there in seperate single rooms. when i got back home and contacted my credit card to complain, they said that it was because the hotel had tried to take money out on the card, which had since been reported stolen. the hotel staff did not inform us of this and put the blame squarely on the credit card company. when this happened they made no attempt to contact me to use an alternative card, they instead just gave our room away. they also added euros 40 to our bill upon leaving for no apparent reason, instead of apologising when we brought this to their attention, they just gave us dirty looks. but, i have to say that was kind of the service we received everywhere in rome. The price of the use of internet, although it could only be done in the lobbyAir conditioning was hardly cooling and only drying the room. breakfast has little choice for such a pricy hotel and is served at very small tables, which are only cleaned when they are all used up.Anonymous

Location very good, 5 mins from trevi fountain. staff spoke good english and were very polite. breakfast included, added bonus plus starts very early which suited us on last day as had to rush for flight home. rooms small but very clean and had plenty of room for clothes etc. very pleasant stay.Alan Wilkinson

Fantastic location very close to spanish steps, and a plethora of restaurants.Room was quite dark, and the bathroom was tiny, barely had room for one. legs hit the wall when using the toilet.Matthew Day

I wasn't sure what to expect so i had apologised to my husband and nineteen year old daughter before arriving at the hotel. it's quite difficult getting a full picture on the internet. however we were pleasantly surprised. we arrived late and our booking was still available even though i hadn't confirmed it since booking it a month in advance. the staff were extremely helpful and the accommodation very comfortable. i had heard and read horror stories about other hotels while researching the internet so i was so glad we had success. the location was second to none..very close to trevi and the spanish steps, and in an upmarket area. the price we were able to secure the booking at was also excellent value for money.Jorrit.R. Hotel caprice was located right near the metro and some great restaurants. next to the hard rock cafe rome and the high end hotel district. just a short walk to the trevi fountain and a 3 min walk to the metro. The interior of the hotel was worn down but still clean.SCOPELLITI
