Description
Domus Livia is a classy residence in the historical centre of Rome, between the Roman Forum (close to the Colosseum) and the famous Trevi Fountain. The hotel is located in a prestigious 19th century building, a luxury house, in classical style combined with technological solutions, such as satellite TV, air-conditioning, free WiFi Internet connection, and many more.
The hotel has superior accomodations (soundproof windows, LCD TV, jacuzzi on request etc.) and standard rooms. The hotel's comfortable guest rooms are all finely refurbished and furnished with antique pieces. Decorated in warm colours, the hotel aims to provide a relaxing and welcoming environment.
Within 50 metres you will also find the metro stop and bus stops, with direct connections to S. Pietro, Trastevere and the Spanish steps. Termini station is also within walking distance, offering you excellent transport around Rome and to the surrounding areas.

The staff went out of their way to be informative and helpful with info re: sights, traveling around town, local tours, supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. they actually bought us a gift (of local pear juice) when we left. great area and would stay there again.

All girls of staff was nice and helpful, rooms were clean.- we booked 'superior quadrable room' but i was given a i3'*14' feet room, which i think was just 'quadrable'.
-we arrived at 8:30 am, but the reception (valentina) told us we can't have breakfast as breakfast starts the next day (though breakfast was from 8:00-11:00 am).
- room was much smaller and different from that in the web site.
- no floor mattes in the bathroom.
- lcd tv was 20" only.
- no satellite.

The hotel is in a great location, every tourist place is so nearby. we had gone with our parents and our 3 month old baby. so we took a taxi everywhere and the hotel location did help. the hotel staff (both) were very helpful.1. the only thing we found was that the quadruple room was really cramped for 4 people. the room is perfect for a 2 person stay but for a four person stay, it was small. but anyways it didnt matter much for a short stayPhillip Smith
