The Fontana Hotel is a small and romantic hotel, set in the heart of Rome in a building that was once a 16th century convent. The Trevi Fountain is visible from any of the front windows of the hotel. By airplane:
From Fiumicino airport, take the airport express train to Termini central station and continue by underground.
From Ciampino airport, take the bus to Anagnina underground stop, change to the underground and get off at Barberini.

I stayed in one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel, however the service in the room was poor. my room interconected to another room and i was able to listen to people next to very clearly, when they watched tv, it made it impossible to stay in the room. also the tv was only in italian, for the price of the room i expected a bit more comodities.25 Feb 08
