By train:
The hotel is 5 km from the Termini railway station. The bus n.910 for Termini railway station stops near the hotel. The trip takes about 30 minutes.

By airplane:
The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or by a local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Termini station.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from underground line A terminus Anagnina. The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes.

Had to call the concierge to open the door each time we went in because the keys never opened. location a bit noisy.

So close to metro. very grand just like it's name. bedroom looked identical to the web photo...regal!superb pizza/pasta restaurant on the corner, exc prices and great wine!breakfast as big as you want it.marvellous.
From flaminio one stop on a different lin...euclide which was ok as trains regular. if anything shower a bit weak...but so what!!! didn't see lots of restaurants on the doorstep...but the one we found was excellent!!!

It was a metro ride to all attractions. very little near to the hotel (i.e. very few bars, cafes and resaurants). this was the greatest disappointment

The staff were very helpful. they spoke very good english. anything we asked for was provided. the breakfast was very good.
On arrival we were given a double room (which is what we paid for) you could'nt swing a cat and there was a musty smell. we asked for another room and were upgraded to a juinor suite. had we not asked we would not have had a pleasent stay

In a 4 star hotel, i was expecting much better services. for instance we only had a small tv with only 6-7 channels, all italian except one in polish(!). also was expecting a jacuzzi, when in fact it was a bubble bathtub.

Who ever said this hotel was rubbish should have another look. the location was great next to the metro. the rooms were wonderful and over the top with decor, included a jacuzzi bath. breakfast- you couldnt eat anymore. i spen nearly all my life in hotels and this is one of the better ones i have been too. the only thing thats considered a problem was noise at night, but if you want to stop in a capital city expect noise or go some were else.

The staff was not very polite, and the heating was off the first night in the room

Staff were very helpful. breakfast was not as low key as expected as there was still a good selection of food even towards the end of the allotted dining time.
Shower leaked out of it's cubicle - but very minor and had no impact on the stay.

I would like to make clear that if you are looking for a 4 stars hotel this is not the place to go! not even the basic standard requirements are meet by the property, we woke up in the morning in a room that might be better described as a refrigerated cellar, to just say it was extremely cold it would not give you the right idea of what we had to experience, we try to call the reception downstair as the air-conditioning control panel is pre-programmed and there is absolutely nothing a customer can do with it and guess what? the telephone was not working either, so i made my way downstairs and the staff in reception told us that the telephone system in that part of the building it was out of order, we went out for the day and when we returned we noticed that the corridors were much more warm, so it seems that someone actually did something but not in the right spot as the room was still cold. when you open the windows you will only be able to see huge airconditioning metal pipes and other related machinery that will make you feel like if your room is in the middle of some sort of industrial factory, there are many other windows facing the same spot and potentially if you forgot to lock up your window people can easily make their way into your bedroom; we struggled a bit to find from where to flush the toilette as some "artistic" mind taught the best place was not just on top of it but on top of the bath just after the bidet and well protected by a glass screen (which you have to open everytime you want to flush), there are missing parts here and there that anybody with a normal eyesight can clearly notice, pieces of stickers left there just to remind you something it was there sometime in the past, one of the window could not be open because of a faulty mechanism, two tv but only one remote control and they will not give you another one even after you ask for it (tv channels available: all main italian ones, 1 french, 2 polish and no english channels at all(!)) the door of the frigobar was broken, indipendently by the fact that you press or not the "do not disturb" button on your room, the staff seems to be unaware of what that red light means on the outside (congratulation!), one of them even taked away our room key from the internal electronic device living my 70 y.o. mum without electricity for 3 hours, it's a scandal! many of the lacks this hotel have could be avoided by just paying someone to check everything is ok inside the bedrooms before they are rented out, it shouldn't be up to the customer to discover and reports all faults you have as this is simply disrespecting us and creating bad publicity for your place.

Our room was a nice size and very clean.its a 10 min bus journey to central rome and costs only 1 euro.
Not much restaurants nearby.hotel is noisy due to the noise from the street.breakfast was very poor.not a large selection.

Location, although away from most tourist places, was quite good as it was on bus and urban train lines. the buffet breakfast was quite acceptable.
Yes, drapes would not close (broken), hotel we stayed at was not grand hotel ritz, but the put us in attached hotel regency, which seemed less than 4 star. also, there is no tv channel in english, not even any cnn (which is normally available in even 3 star hotels).

This is an extremely pleasant hotel. the facilities were excellent. the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was varied. all in all a very good experience
The only thing i would say that was not in its favour was that there were very few places to eat in the vacinity.

The room was very nice and the hotel was clean.
Could not check in until 5pm. staff were not friendly at reception, they just asked for our passports and to sign some papers. no smiles and we did not feel particularly welcome. breakfast was poor, no choice, just coissants and ham. the 'restaurant' felt more like a school canteen and we had to wait to get a table. this hotel is very over-priced at eur 165 per night and i will not be staying again. it is also a 15min bus ride from the centre of rome.

Le pedimos a la recepcionista del hotel un taxi para ir al aeropuerto, y nos llamo un taxi pirata, que nos anuncio un precio doble al normal, que nos llevo por un camino que no era el adecuado, nos tuvimos que escapar del coche, porque nos asustamos, nos dio la impresion que nos llevaba a algun sitio a donde nos esperaban alguin para robarnos. este fue una experiencia muy negativa, que vamos a denunciar. es completamente inadmisible que un hotel ritz llame a un taxi pirata, seguramente para que la recepcionista cobre su comision. esto nos a causado un buen digusto, y no recomendaria para nada este hotel. a parte que pienso que vuestra agencia de viaje lo tendria que denunciar.

Posizione molto centrale. a due passi una fermata della ferrovia sotterranea (non la metropolitana) che collega in due fermate alla metro.
Un bell'albergo in ottima posizione ma piuttosto vecchio. l'età e lo stato di usura degli arredi e dei servizi, soprattutto delle stanze e dei bagni, risulta esagerato per questo albergo per il quale, forse, 4 stelle un po' troppe... dopo esserci lamentati della stanza siamo stati spostati all'hotel regent, 4 stelle, comunicante con il ritz: un po' meglio, ma niente di che. per parcheggiare l'auto bisogna arrangiarsi (strisce blu, divieto di sosta a rischio multa o vicino parcheggio a pagamento)
