Opened in July 2004, Hotel Alimandi Vaticano was originally a Police department office and is today a luxurious 4-star hotel. Hotel Alimandi Viale Vaticano is located in one of the most elegant areas of Rome, in front of the entrance of the Vatican Museum.
In total the hotel offers 24 rooms (three of them are suites), decorated in liberty style and all furnished with all modern comforts. The hotel offers standard rooms and superior rooms, all featuring an en-suite bathroom and many other room facilities.
The hotel serves a rich buffet breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room, which is also available also to organise banquets, receptions and other special events. Hotel Alimandi Viale Vaticano is located 5 metro stops away from Termini Railway Station. Hotel Alimandi is situated on number 99 of Viale Vaticano right in front of the entrance of the Vatican Museum.
The area is very calm and has plenty of very nice restaurants where guests can enjoy some Roman specialities.
How to reach the hotel?From Ciampino Airport, take the bus to Anagnina, then take metro line A and get off at metro station 'Ottaviano-S. Pietro'. From there you walk to Via Giulio Cesare in direction of Via Leone IV. Turn left at the first traffic light and follow the indications to the Vatican Museum. The hotel is situated at Viale Vaticano nr. 99.

The air condition was not working properly, but the hotel compensating us for each night we were there. they had a bar there so when we had to get up at 5am, due to our 22-month old daughter, it was great to go down and get some coffee from them. everyone was so helpful and with this being our first experience in rome it was great. we loved it so much we stayed an extra night.Anonymous
