Hotel Antico Acquedotto is a non-smoking hotel, located in a calm and green central neighborhood in Rome. The hotel is located at just few meters from the Ancient Roman Claudio Aqueduct (which construction began in 38 A.D. under Emperor Caligula and was completed by his successor Emperor Claudio), and walking distance from Porta Maggiore and the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.
The hotel is also near to the Basilica of San Giovanni, the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and Termini central station, from which it is easily accessible by bus number 105 or by the “Met.Ro” tram (the 2nd stop after Pone Casilino: “Villini”) which runs along the Claudio Aqueduct.
The hotel, which boasts a modern and elegant architecture, was recently fully renovated to offer 32 Single and Double rooms, which are equipped with all common facilities.
In addition to selected rooms with terraces, the hotel has several common terraces with beautiful panoramic views: from the Terrazzo San Giovanni there is a beautiful view of the Ancient Roman Claudio Aqueduct and the Basilica of San Giovanni; from the Terrazzo Acquedotto there is a clear view of the Ancient Roman Claudio Aqueduct; and from the Terrazzo Solarium you can admire the Aqueduct that starts from Colli Albani, and from which the ancient Alessandrino and Marcio aqueducts originated.

By plane:
From Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport, take a train to Termini Station.
By train:
Arrived at the Termini Station from the Airport of Fiumicino or Ciampino, or in train, it’s possible to choose:
From the railway of Termini Station reach the contiguous “Stazione Laziali – Met.Ro.” and take the local train “Ferrovia-Roma-Pantano” and get down after five stops at the stop “Villini”,
which is located at about 30 mt. from the Hotel.
From Termini Station take the bus no. 105 and get down at the first stop after the stop “Ponte Casilino”, stop “Sant’Elena” or get down at the second stop after stop “Ponte Casilino”, named stop “Alessi”: both these stops are about 100 mt. from the Hotel.
By car:
From Porta Maggiore:
- Take Via Casilina.
- After 500 metres, at the traffic lights, turn left to Ponte Casilino.
- Turn back into Via Casilina on the right.
- After 300 metres, you will see the first tree-traffic-divider; turn left and the hotel is there.

The hotel is difficult to find when you arrive to termini, but when you are there is fantastic, the rooms excelent and the people there perfect.
The localitation, because we are lost is difficult to aarive, you need to take a taxi the first time you go there.

Alle medewerkers deden enorm hun best om een klantvriendelijke en behulpzame service te bieden. alleen maar lof wat dat betreft. kamer is netjes en correct, maar niet meer dan dat.Ontbijt stelt niet veel voor - verse broodwaren kent men niet - alles is voorverpakt tot en met de toastjes en gummi croissants toe (is mogelijk een algemeen verschijnsel in italie, naar verluidt). jammer dat er geen bar aanwezig is - het zou leuk geweest zijn om nog even - na een drukke dag in het centrum van rome - te kunnen relaxen (met een drankje) in de zetels van de bar vooraleer te gaan slapen...
de kamers zijn niet goed geïsoleerd tegen geluidshinder vanuit de gang of naburige kamers.
