The Hotel Felice is a non-smoking hotel, located in the historical San Lorenzo district in the centre of Rome close to the Termini Railway Station and the University area. San Lorenzo is one of the liveliest districts in Rome, with its array of pubs, restaurants and diners and the hotel has easy access to most of the historic sites of Rome.

The hotel is within walking distance from restaurants and only five minutes from the famous street “Via Veneto“ and the "Colosseo".
It is not easy to describe what the San Lorenzo area represents nowadays; in fact one realizes at first sight it is not an area like the other ones, it cannot be confused with other areas in Rome. Often you have the impression to be somewhere else, not in Rome. San Lorenzo is a village in itself, a city on a human scale, where relations among people seem to be the way they were in the past.
Although people who were born there, people who moved there, people who go there often, and people who just go there by chance, have different opinions about it, the common thought is that this area has a big impact on everybody; somehow people are attracted by S. Lorenzo’s soul. In fact those who know the area, know as well that San Lorenzo has a soul, its soul was always there, and even those ones who don’t know the area realize it, when they happen to be here.
Its history reveals a surprising continuity between past and present, since its origins centuries ago. It is amazing that in more than one century history, its true and deep soul is unchanged in spite of the deep changes in society, and historical events which affected our country.

By car:
From the North, reach the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road and take exit Via Salaria-Roma centro. Turn left into viale Regina Margherita and carry on until piazzale del Verano. Continue onto via De Lollis, turn left into via dei Marrucini and you will cross via Tiburtina, where the hotel lies at number 30.
From the South, reach the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road and take exit Via Prenestina-Roma centro. From Porta Maggiore, turn into via Giolitti. Turn right into piazzale Tiburtino after the Santa Bibiana tunnel and go along via Tiburtina until number 30, where the hotel is located.
By train:
The Roma Termini central railway station is about 700 metres from the hotel.
Walking, exit the station from the Via Marsala side, carry straight on and go past Porta Tiburtina. From piazzale Tiburtino, turn into via Tiburtina and go straight on until number 30, where the hotel is located.
By bus:
The Roma Termini central railway station is about 700 metres from the hotel. Exit the station from the Via Giolitti side and carry on onto via Filippo Turati. From there, take bus 71 and get off at piazzale Tiburtino (the fourth stop). The hotel lies on via Tiburtina number 30, just 30 metres from the stop.
By airplane:
From Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Termini railway station and follow the aforementioned indications.
From Ciampino airport, take the bus to Anagnina, then underground line A to Vittorio Emanuele, about 200 metres from the hotel.

The hotel met our expectations and there was the additional bonus of the roof terrace.
Slight negative, breakfast was accross a busy road in a bar in the adjacent park and breakfast was very limited in choice.17 Jun 08

The location was good (about 10 minute walk from termini and vittorio emanuele metro station). rooms were very clean and comfy enough. at night there was a lot going on, mainly local people going out. the area is safe enough and there are 2 supermarkets nearby. it is a great value for the price.The breakfast is not great. it is served in a different location and the staff there was not looking forward to wait on people from the hotel.21 Nov 07
About 10-15 minute walk from termini station - where all trains in rome meet so it was convienient. but nightlife was a little farther away. shared bathrooms were clean. did not have an elevator - bring luggage you can climb stairs. Was noisy at times at night. 22 Nov 07
