Description
The Hotel King is situated on the Via Sistina in Rome. The hotel is located in the best shopping area of Rome, within walking distance from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto and the Villa Borghese. The 'Barberini' metro station is located at only 200 metres from the hotel.

Excellent location for tourists.Although we saw americal tourists having their bags carried for them, we (british ladies) were expected to carry our own bags, even though we had to trek across the hotel between the two lifts that had to be used to get to the 5th floor.Carolyn Gibb

Desde mi punto de vista, el hotel reúne las condiciones imprescindibles para un alojamiento turístico de pocos días: ubicaciÓn, tranquilidad y limpieza. considero que por ser un hotel de 3 estrellas en una ciudad como roma (muy cara) no está mal. por consiguiente la relación calidad/precio es aceptable. la ubicación es excelente, cerca de todos los lugares de interés y muy céntrico. la habitación insonorizada no dejaba oir el ruido exterior y las camas están bien, son grandes y cómodas al igual que las almohadas. el aire acondicionado funcionaba bien y había agua caliente, sin problemas. todo ello a pesar de las críticas negativas que había leido en internet.Pienso que deberían actualizarse las habitaciones del hotel. el baño necesita una urgente rehabilitación! la habitación también debería ser reformada: las paredes con tapizados viejos y muy mal iluminada. la tv es muy vieja y se veía muy mal! en cuanto al desayuno, aunque era correcto carecía de imaginación: todos los días era lo mismo.Anonymous

I was first given a very dark little room; after having then inquired at the reception about another room, i had the chance to stay in another (though also very small) room on the "4" floor with a view over the patio plus another window (not normal) in the bathroom. in general, i would recommend the hotel to people who like to go shopping in rome.The breakfast does not offer a wide selection - if you want to stay away from white bread or sugared cereals you should rather stay in a rental appartment where you can prepare your breakfast as you do "at home".Sebastian Bazzi

The hotel was very good located, so if you dont have enough time to stay at rome and limited budget,definetly this is a good choiceToo much stairs on the floor, so if your luggage is heavy it will be terrible to move on along the hotel. not enough elevators. last but not least, the hotel is beside a theatre in which plays alive music, so you will experience a little bit noise during the night.Orphanides

Location was definately the best thing about the hotel. we could walk to major attractions. the room was clean and spacious and breakfast was basic but adequate.Very smelly room when we first went in. it smelt of dampness or an old people's home. so we had to keep the windows open for a long time before it started to get better. also, the second lift was little bit scary but overall if you are looking to sight see rome then this is the perfect hotel for you.William David Bickford
