The Mamiani hotel is a cozy B&B hotel near Termini railway station in Rome. The Mamiani Hotel is in a strategic location in the city centre of Rome, just a few minutes from some of the major monuments of the city. It has good connections with public transports, the Termini railway station and with metro station 'Vittorio Emanuele' which is near the hotel.
Next to the hotel the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is situated as well as the Ambra Jovinelli new theater, the Coliseum, the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano and the Opera.
How to reach the hotel?- From G.B. Pastine's airport of Ciampino, we suggest a taxi for a trip of about 30 minutes.
- From Termini station, we suggest to follow the directions to the binary 26-29 Terminal Fiumicino and then exit on via Giolitti from which we reach the hotel, on foot, in just 2 minutes.
- By car, from any highway, we recommend to go on the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA). From GRA go to the A24 (Rome) in the direction of Rome Center. So follow the signs for S.Giovanni; The hotel is located less than 1.5 km.
- The subway station nearest to Mamiani Hotel is located in Piazza Vittorio. (A red line).
- From Termini Station you can choose metro line A (red) or line B (blue) to go to other important places in Rome.

We had a necklace stolen from the room, most likely by one of the cleaning ladies. we contacted a manager through the hotel staff, but except for some lame comments about the honesty of his maids he did not do anything. in addition he had a full interview with the receptionist (where we were from? etc) before agreeing to talk to us.

Free air conditioning and safety deposit box was very good, as was the mini bar when water was needed. room was very clean and staff were very friendly. the location was good, close to main train station and within easy walking distance of many attractions with a tube station on the doorstep if required - would def stay again in the futureAnonymous

Clean room but extremely small bathroom...one person at a time. If you need access to the internet, it works only 50% of the time. after repeated requests for assitance, they finally gave us a hard cable to directly connect. and no ground level rooms...every room requires going up stairs and narrow halls. poor value for the dollar. if all you need is a place to sleep, then i guess its ok. certainly nothing special.Anonymous

Rooms were clean, some staff were friendly.Extremely annoyed and disappointed that on arrival to hotel mamiani we were told that they were overbooked therefore we would have to move hotels for the first night. then found out that the hotel that we would be staying at was not on the map and therefore the location was not as good as the mamiani which is the reason we booked this hotel for. this messed up some of our plans and took out a large chunk of time having to travel out of town then back into the city. no warning was given regarding the overbooking and no compensation was given.Anonymous

Hotel was very nice and clean. everything was new and the service was perfect. the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. its situated very close to the termini station and to the victor emanuel metro station so it has very good position. the breakfast is in the tipical cafe next door, and it was really perfekt every day ! We stay in the hotel mamiani for 3 nights. the room is quite clean. the typical italian style room is modern. but after 3 days experience with this room, i conclude that i will not come back to this hotel and i will not recommend other people to stay in this 3-star hotel.First, we experienced a difficulty to find the hotel. we have a map of rom (a very detailed one) but we can hardly reach the hotel. this might be due to the fact that rom is more complicated than what we expected and the hotel have only single small door with a very small hotel nameplate (next to the door). once we enter the room, at first glance, we (my wife and i) thought it is small but modern. but when we looks into detail. the modern part is just a new color on the old things so we don't appreciate this kind of style. the most problematic point is the sound from nearby room. one can even understand the conversation of other people (without paying attention). unfortunately, our room (number 4) is near the stair, so we cannot go to bed early and we have to wake up in the morning because other people walk! so compare the price i pay and the room i get, i cannot recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.Chris Allen

Very good value for money. the room was small and basic but clean and everything worked, aircon for the summer, safe, mini bar, small ensuite with good shower, breakfast was at a cafe round the corner amongst the locals which we really enjoyed. close to main transport hub at termini, although we easily walked to most attractions from the hotel. Taking the price into account there was nothing negative about it. it was a clean and convienient place to sleep, which was all we were looking for.Anonymous

Room was well looked after. staff were attentive and competent. room was quiet and comfortable.Breakfast arrangement was sub-standard - limited choice in cramped cafe (although staff there were good). multiple tv channels but all in italian - cnn, bbc or similar would be desirable. no lift, although staff helped with bags.
