Breakfast - thought it was very good,plenty of choice and staff made sure that as things ran out they were replenished. very clean room, towells changed everyday. very good location for train station and buses,five minutes walk for no 62 to get to vatican city and collosseum. walking distance (about 20 mins)for spanish steps and trevi fountain. very pleasant hotel no down side to it at all, we had a lovely stay in rome.NoMeadows

Very pleasing. room fair size. excellent bathroom. clean towels daily. breakfast much better than i expected. plenty of it. not too far from termini and sights. didn't have to check out of room until midday. lovely open air room at rear which was very pretty and comfortable. good lounge facilities with comfortable sofas and nicely decorated. all in all very satisfied.The only negative was that one of the beds in our triple room was a 'put-you-up' bed which was definitely hard and uncomfortable.Mr Dominic Cadge

I asked if i could change rooms as it was too noisy and they happily did so. the bedroom and bathroom were large. the breakfast was excellent with pleny of choice, fruit, cereal, ham cheese, croissants and bread.the staff very friendly and helpful.Our booking was for a superior room and a request for a quiet room also. on arrival we were given not a very nice room which was opposite a restaurant that was being refurbished and early in the morning the workers began. the shower and toilet was very small. the room we were transferred to was 100% better. Good location, nice clean and quiet hotel. staff helpful. i would stay there again.I booked a 'superior' room, but having looked inside a few other rooms whilst they were being cleaned, i don't think mine was any different to the standard rooms. no iron/ironing facilities. main gripe is cost - cost was more than anticipated: the total price is the figure in euros quoted on the website at time of booking, not sterling, ie although the euro rate changed and the cost should have been less, it remained a the high euro price quoted. breakfast was basic, though adequate.Paul Boscarino

Very friendly and helpful front desk & housekeeping staff. hotel is very close to bus transportation and relatively close to metro stop (repubblica) and termini station.
breakfast was quite adequate - although the selection of items was the same each day of our 10-day stay. very friendly breakfast staff.
room was quite large - especially for a hotel in europe. room was clean and made-up each day with fresh linens and towels. bathroom was also larger than many i have seen in europe.
my wife and i primarily made this trip to visit our daughter, who is studying at a university in rome. this was our first trip to italy, and we could not have had a better time. our stay at the hotel medici only served to enhance our experience. we will definitely consider staying there again - should we ever return to rome. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. rooms were spacious and clean. close to many bus lines and main train station within walking distance.Rooms were noisy all night long from street traffic and store deliveries. breakfast was okay..it would have been nice to get some fresh fruit. beds were very very hard.
