Completely renovated in 2003-2004, Hotel Novecento is a stylishly restored palazzo located in an elegant and peaceful area in the heart of Rome. Constructed by the Reginaldi family as their residence in the early 1900’s, the building and hotel are to this day family owned and run.

地下鉄a線manzoni駅は新しくて、大きな荷物での移動が楽でした。駅からは３００ｍぐらいで近いです。テルミニ駅からは１ｋｍぐらいなのですが、とても静かな界隈です。
閑静な住宅地ですし、街燈も街路樹の陰で暗く、夜にホテルに帰るときには犬のう○ちを踏まないか心配な程でした。不審者などの怖い思いは無いですが、人気も無いので女性の一人旅にはおススメしません。Anonymous

Friendly and helpful staff .close to manzoni tube station and 10-15 minutes walk from the colosseum .1. no sky tv and all the programmes were in italian so missed english programmes.
2. when the breakfast room was busy in the mornings it was difficult to get to the toaster and an extra toaster would have helped.Anonymous

The staff were all very pleasant, breakfast was simple but hearty. the room was nice and clean and it was good to be near a metro station.The hotel should think about having a laundry room or laundry service for guests. at the very least know exactly where a laundromat can be found. it was very difficult for me to find a laundromat and the staff didn't know of any. i luckily found a flyer on the sidewalk a block from the hotel or i never would have located the laundromat.Jerry Alexander

We stayed for 5 nights in march - even at this time of the year we were able to sit out on the delightful roof garden amongst the lemon trees, sipping a glass of wine.
the staff could not have done more for us, they booked/recommended restaurants, booked taxies, explained in detail how to get to various key places. we had a fantastic evening of jazz in the alexander plaz - great music, front row seats and delicious food.
several fun evenings at the romantica - very near to the hotel. there was always someone in reception to help with any language problems, or to let you in (even at 1.30am one night).
breakfast was at a civilized time - 8 -10a.m. plenty of everything and again helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble.
we even had live music while we dined, one morning, played for us by the lady of the house.
the staff were very knowledgeable about the rome art scene, which was of particular interest to us.
in terms of location this hotel is ideally situated because the metro is only a 3 minute walk away and enables you (with an 11 euro three day pass) to access any of the major sites within 20-30 minutes. we found the metro very safe, very clean and 'on time'.
we would be only to pleased to return to this hotel for another visit.

Very clean. acceptable breakfast (pastries and good coffee). the roof terrace was good. we were lucky to be on third floor and have a balcony too. close to colosseum. metro very close. lots of nearby good food outlets (very cheap chinese, good trattoria, lovely friendly supermarket)The busshuttle from airport is good value, but get the metro from termini to manzoni (only 1 euro) otherwise its a bit of a trek with baggage.Lisan Lin

Room is very clean and quiet. close to metro monzoni and can get to anywhere easily. all staff are very friendly and ready to help (with one exception as noted below). During our stay, the man who worked for the night shift was always impatient and grumpy. when asked about direction to piazza venezia on our first day, he was apparently frustrated by my question for reasons i can't figure out and told us to take any bus at the bus monzoni bus stop which we did. that led us to who knows where ... since our ac converter didn't work, i went down to ask if the hotel could loan us one, he was upset. next day, my wife got one (free of charge) from the day time staff. for some reason, this man is always unfriendly and mad at something. our friend who traveled with us and stayed also at novecento said the exactly same thing.ILKNUR BINGUL

we were made to sleep in a singel room the first night we arrived. this was very uncomfortable and as a consequence we did not slepp that night. the following night we were moved to a different room. you were obviously overbooked and i think that it was very poor that you made us slepp in a single room when there were two of us. when i asked for a discount i was offered a complementary glass of orange juice instead, what a joke!!!! would definately not recommend anyone stayed there in the future.

Walking distance to colosseum. good bathroom, nice & powerful shower.Stayed with my husband so obviously needed a double bed which we requested, but they consider a double room, as having two twin beds. in addition, the metro manzoni station couple minutes walk from hotel novecento was closed for expansion of metro & archaelogical works. this proved difficult, especially going to & from airport with suitcases, we had to walk to next metro stop (vittorio emanuelle or san giovanni). good exercise i suppose!Anonymous

Le calme ! rome est une ville très bruyante, l'hotel est situé dans une petite rue sans bruit... très agréable !
un chambre correcte, propre et fonctionnelle avec sdb.
dans l'ensemble, une bonne impression... modérée par les points ci dessous.A l'arrivé il nous a été demandé de régler l'intégralité de la prestation (377 €) en cash ! ce qui était bien entendu impossible car nous nous serions alors retrouvé sans argent... heureusement, un arrangement a pu être trouvé.
nous avons du laisser nos cartes d'identités à la réception: pourquoi, vu que nous avions payé ?
le petit déjeuner pourrait être de meilleure qualité: le café est tout juste, le jus de fruit industriel, les brioches un peu rassies. l'accès internet se fait avec son propre ordinateur: a clarifier sur votre site, car nous pensions à une machine en libre service. pour finir la chambre nous a semblée un peu austère. tous ces petits points font chuter le rapport qualité prix: le fait que les hotels de rome soient chers n'est pas une justification.Roose
