Hotel Rubino is is a gracious and little 2-star hotel situated in the heart of historic Rome, close to the Termini Railway Station and to the major historic sights.
The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day for guests' convenience. Sight seeing tours of the city and surrounding areas can be booked directly from the hotel. The hotel's staff can also arrange transportation to the airports.
The hotel has a fax and postal service for letters and nearby the hotel there is laundry service, parking facilities and a money exchange office. The hotel provides maps of the city and luggage storage for free. Groups are welcome.

Hotel Rubino is set in the heart of the city just a few steps from the Termini Station and very close to the most important historical sights of Rome like the Colosseum and the Trajan Markets.
The Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc. can easily be reached by metro, bus or on foot.
The hotel is in a very good position for sightseeing, visiting museums and walking in the centre of the town.

From Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino):
Simply take the shuttle train from the Airport to the Termini
Station. Trains leave the Airport for Termini every 30 minutes
from 06.37 a.m. to 11.37 p.m . In 30 minutes from the Airport you are in Termini Station.
From Rome's Airports (Fiumicino & Ciampino):
Simply take the shuttle bus from the Airports to the
Termini Station. Terravision Bus provides fast and direct
shuttle services between Airports and city centre.
The last stop is in Via Marsala (a few meters from our Hotel).

We are located only a short distance from Rome's Termini
Station, on the north side. As you are leaving the Station,
by track n. 1, you are on Via Marsala. Turn right and then
take the first left which is Via Milazzo. We are only a few
meters down this street on the right.

From the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road, connected to all the main incoming highways, follow the indications to Centro (city-centre) and then to Termini, very close to the hotel.

I was disappointed with several things during my stay here:
1. poor service - when i initially arrived, they took ten minutes to actually come to the front desk and check me in. also, i stayed for two nights, but they made me switch to a smaller room on the second night. it was inconvenient to have to pack all of my things so they could be moved to a different room the second night, and i felt making me change rooms was very rude.
2. they did not take credit card or debit card, so i had to pay in cash. i was trying to avoid carrying large sums of cash on me, and i was unhappy at having to pay the extra banking and atm fees in order to procure the necessary cash to take care of the hotel bill.
3. they were very deceptive about the availability of wireless internet at their hotel. the website said they had wireless internet, but in fact there was absolutely no wireless signal in my hotel room. instead, when the hotel says it has wireless internet, what it is referring to is a small wireless internet cafe three floors above the actual hotel, though i think it is run by the same people who run the hotel. it cost an extra fee to access the wireless at this internet cafe. it did not come with the cost of the room. furthermore, for the entirety of my stay the wireless at this place was actually broken, so even though i payed the fee for internet access, i did not get any internet access. they refused to refund this fee.Anonymous

The location to the train station was excellent
the breakfast was good, and convenient - thank you!With regards to payment on the website, it should be made more clear that payment is yet to be made on arrival at the hotel and will not come off you credit/debit card. an email confirming this would be great!

Zeer gehorig hotel, we sliepen boven de receptie en hoorden iedere keer de bel en de deur in het slot vallen. ook hoorden we de buren douchen, niezen, praten etc.
