From the Grande Raccordo Anulare take the Salaria exit in direction of the center and drive along via Salaria following the directions for Termini railway station. Staff were generally friendly and helpful
On arrival in room there was a large cockroach on the wall. i went to reception and asked for a different room. they obliged and new room was much better.28 Feb 08

Hotel selene is centrally located and only a 5 minute walk from termini station. most of the popular attractions are within walking distance. the room was great value for a room in the centre of rome, with a continental breakfast included too. rooms were air conditioned and included fridges. they were cleaned and towels refreshed daily. the staff were very helpful. this hotel is great if you want to use it as a base for travelling around the city. if you intend on spending a number of hours in the hotel, then i would recommend you spend a little more and book in elsewhere.The hotel reception is not obvious as it's called the "hotel selene shop". also, the double room we were in was a little small, but it had a huge bathroom.22 Nov 07
