The Lodi Hotel is housed in a nineteenth century building in the historic centre of Rome and within walking distance of several monuments such as the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano and the Colosseum.
Since November 2006, the new hotel’s management, addressed its strive for the planning and the realization of a new product to offer in the receptive Roman atmosphere: a unique structure in a strategic position for young travellers from all over the world, a dynamic and friendly atmosphere where guests can mix and mingle and get to know each other.

By Special Train Leonardo Express: The "Leonardo Express" train leaves every day from Fiumicino Airport station every 30 minutes and it stops at the Termini Railway Station without no mid-journey stops.
From Ciampino Airport: Take line A. CO.TRAL until metro stop ANAGNINA and take the metro until TERMINI stop (Termini Railway Station).
From Termini station: Take bus line 105 (Grotte Celoni) and get off at the sixth bus stop (Casilina-Gallarate). Walk for 10 meters until the traffic light and turn right (Via Gallarate), pass the arch and you will be in Piazza Lodi. From Piazza Lodi take Via Oristano, at house number 14 you will find Lodi Hotel.

Toni and fabri are outstanding hosts. toni sat with us our first day in rome and helped us plan out itinerary. fabri suggested restaurants and was helpful in getting us to and from the airport.
also, there's a kitchen open to all guests, so we could purchase snacks and wine. 
I don't recall if the ad mentioned the shared toilet, but it was a surprise to us. it's fairly noisy, especially in the rooms facing the street.Faehndrich

All round lovely hotel, with clean rooms, lovely garden for breakfast and to relax in, in the evening, and the staff antonella, fabrizio, ali & mirella could not have been more friendly. they made us very welcome and were full of great advice on what to see and do in rome, where to eat, how to get around and every bit of advice you could hope for. this for us was one of the highlights of rome and made the visit all the more enjoyable and memorable. thanks antonella, fabrizio, ali & mirella - you are a great team and you have a terrific hotel.

The staff is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. the room is comfortable and the location is excellent, near metro station and bus stops to all major points of the city. it's worthy staying there. internet is free of charge!There was a problem with the toilet one night, but they fixed it on the next morning.Saskia

When i arrived at hotel lodi,i was immediatley greeted by 3 staff members who took into consideration the email i sent asking for a private room.they were more than willing to open up their private suite for me which was more than i needed or could ask for!! but was perfect! the owner of the hotel was fluent in many different languages and was able to communicate to many of the guests staying there.and when i asked where there was a good restaurant nearby,they sent me to the best italian food i've ever eaten!so good,i went back the second night!but nothing could beat the breakfast outside on the terrace underneath the mandarine and grapfruit trees which was freshly squeezed for me for my breakfast.i will definatley be returning to hotel lodi when i come to rome again.thanks guys!!!Anonymous

Sehr nettes personal, sehr entgegenkommend. am ersten tag haben wir vom rezeptionist einige tipps zu sehenswürdigkeiten bekommen und wie wir sie erreichen können. das hotel hat eine 24/7 rezeption, was sehr praktisch ist. das zimmer war sauberDas zimmer roch sehr nach abgestandenem wasser, was wohl von alten rohren und dem defekten bidet im bad, das zum zimmer gehörte, stammte.Dubois
