Description
Opened on the 15th April 2006, rich in elegance and atmosphere, the Milton Roma Hotel has been renewed from an ancient convent to a comfortable and receiving hotel.
The hotel is combing the requirements of today’s clients, with an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Guests will be pampered from our efficient staff which will respond to all the needs of guests travelling either for business or pleasure.
Close by the hotel it is possible to reach all the main attractions for which Rome is world famous: the Colosseum, The Imperial Forum, Venice Square, Colle Oppio, Trevi Fountain, St.John’s in Lateran Cathedral etc.
The hotel offers the following facilities: bar, reception 24h, non-smoking rooms, rooms/facilities for disabled, elevator, safety deposit box, valet parking, soundproof rooms, heating , air conditioning, luggage store, multi-language staff. The hotel is located in the heart of Rome, 500 metres away from the Colosseum, 250 metres from St.John’s in Lateran Cathedral and from the major touristic and cultural attractions which are reachable in just a few minutes.
The hotel is strategically located near Termini train station, allowing a particular easy arrival by train or by car. The hotel has a private parking space, on surcharge and upon request. The closest metro station is Manzoni which is 20 metres from the hotel.
How to reach the hotel?By car: From the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) follow the indications to the centre of Rome and get in to Piazza Di Porta San Giovanni, turn right onto Via Emanuele Filiberto and at n.155 you will find our hotel.
By train: From the main train station Termini you need to take the tube line A (red) and get off at the at Manzoni station .The hotel is in front of the station.
By plane, from the airport of Fiumicino Leonardo Da vinci: Take the train, called Leonardo Express and leaving every 30 minutes, which brings you directly to Termini Station and from the there take the metro line A (red) and get off at Manzoni station. The hotel is just in front of the station.
By plane, from the Roma Ciampino airport: The airport is just a few bus stops from metro line A terminal 'Anagnina'. The ride to Termini Station takes about 20 minutes but you can take metro line A direclty to Manzoni station.

The hotel is very clean and although the shower room was quite compact our room was a good size with lovely high ceilings. breakfast catered for everyone's needs with a very wide selection of self-service food. the hotel is in a good location and we had no worries about walking back to the hotel late in the evening. the walk from the colloseum was no more than 20 minutes. our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pine trees in the car park which was very quiet. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend the milton hotel for business travellers and tourists. The location of the hotel was good, with the tube station just out side.The information i read on the web site about the hotel which made me book it, was very different to what we recieved when we got there. the rooms were really small, and the bath room was even smaller. on the web site it says the room are all sound proof, but this was not the case. the kattle did not work so my boyfriend could not make a cup of tea in the room. on the web site it says all rooms contain heated sponges, which was not the case again. the heating control in the room did not work as well, so during the nite i was really cold. the breakfast room was tiny and did not offer much apart from toast and juice. the bar was not open alot and the nite man on reception only knew one place to go and eat and was not very helpful!!! from what i saw on the web site i was really looking forward to staying at the milton, but i would not go back there or tell anyone of my friends to stay there either.Lynn Metcalfe

Excellent location, good choice at breakfast, cleanliness of room and hotel in general was excellent.Rooms were on the small side. we asked for a quiet room, but were put at the front of the hotel near to the road and the tramtracks which woke us early each morning. It's close proximity to underground and it was only a 10 min walk to colosseum really good location without being in a mega busy area... breakfast time was from 7 till 11 which was excellent no need to rush if you felt lazy .. it was only at breakfast time that you realised just how many more guests were in hotel it was very efficiently run had a peaceful atmosphere we will defenitely visit again and have recommended it to a colleague i would say hotel was suitable for all age groups...not sure about children's facilitiesMalcolm Minns
