The Quintili Apartments are only 7 km from the Termini railway station and thanks to line A of Roman underground you can reach it in 15 minutes. The staff organizes guided tours and provides guides and all information you need to get to know the city. They will offer you services as tour operator in Rome, including transportation from/to the Airport/Quintili Apartments and private tours can also be organized on request.
Quintili Residence offers two comfortable apartments that are modernly furbished and provide all the comforts and necessary amenities of the modern life. The apartments are set in a typical Roman building from 1930 and both are situated on the ground floor, located in Via Quintili.
Quintili Residence offers two types of apartments; type "A" (60 square meters for maximum 4 people, double room, living/dining room with kitchen, refrigerator, TV, sofa bed and garrett with height of 1,30 meters) and type "B" (70 square meters for maximum 4 people, double room, dining/living room with kitchen, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning / heating and sofa bed and garrett with height of 1,30 meters).

There is a subway stop very near from the hotel that could take you within minutes to all the other main attractions of Rome, including the Ancient and Imperial Rome, the ruins, and the Rome Coliseum, as well as museums and churches.
The Quintili Apartments are only 7 km from the Termini railway station and thanks to line A of Roman underground you can reach it in 15 minutes. There are many shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, so you can relax and enjoy your stay in Rome.
How to reach the hotel?The nearest underground station of line A is Porta Furba (it’s far 500 meters). If you arrive by car you can take Tuscolana exit of G.R.A. (ring road of Rome) direction city center. Airport Rome Fiumicino (FCO) is 30 km away from the hotel and airport Rome Ciampino is 10 km away from the hotel.

From Termini Railway station (at 7 km from the Hotel) you can take a taxi, or take the subway line A direction Anagnina until the stop Quadraro-Porta Furba (at 80 meters from the Hotel).
By car:
From the ring road (Grande Raccordo Anulare) exit at Tuscolana and follow the indications to Roma centro (center), The Strand Hotel is located in Via Tuscolana at the number 892.

Nice and clean, for the most part. nice value for money, very cheap. great for families.
Hot water in the shower not stable, so it kept changing every 30 seconds between cold and hot water. drain in the shower wasn't working properly. no channels in the tv, no batteries in the tv remote. pretty noisy apartment with airplanes flying over it very often.22 Jul 08

The apartment was nice sized and had locked security gate.The apartment was far from any of the sights in rome and was dirty when we arrived. there was six of us all together and we had to get creative with sleeping arrangements. 13 Feb 08

Ruim appartement alleen is slapen op de vide eigenlijk niet mogelijk, dat is veel te laag. supermarktje, groenteboertje en bakkertje aan de weg naar het appartement. Afstand naar metro was toch wel een hele wandeling. bed op de vide niet goed bereikbaar door de beperkt stahoogte. douche verstopt en werd niet tijdig gerepareerd.inchecken op een andere locatie.10 Mar 08
Het appartement heeft een volledig uitgeruste keuken. rome centrum is met 30 mins bereikbaar vanaf appartement dmv metro. restaurants in de omgeving zijn goed en zeer betaalbaar (scheelt de helft in vergelijk met centrum).Geen lakens voor het tweede bed. een zeer grondig stofbeurt kon zeker geen kwaad.
