The Residence Camilla is situated in the University district of the city centre with easy access to the historic sites.
Located just a short walk from Rome’s “La Sapienza” University and Tiburtina railway station, Residenza Camilla gives the possibility of reaching the historic center by taxi or public transport (several bus routes, as well as two metro stations: Tiburtina and Bologna).
Our rooms and apartments offer the perfect place for guests to enjoy a relaxing and exciting visit to one of the world’s favorite cities. All the accommodations are situated in a small, private street. In total, Residenza Camilla can offer 9 rooms/apartments, which are all located in the same building complex and depending on the apartment, can cater for up to 6 people.
The apartments are well equipped with a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chairs, color TV, bathroom with shower. For your comfort, the rooms and apartments have been finely decorated and furnished to create an ideal and homely environment.

How to reach the hotel?How to reach Residenza Camilla
From Rome’s Airports:
Ciampino (CPO) Airport - You can take a bus to Anagnina Metro Station and from there take the metro, line A (direction Battistini) and change at Termini Station for line B (direction Rebibbia). Get off at the 4th station (Tiburtina), take bus route 71 (direction S. Silvestro) for 2 stops (Tiburtina/Valerio Massimo) and the apartments are just a short walk away.
Fiumicino/Leonardo Da Vinci (FCO) Airport - We recommend that you take the regional train (direction Fara Sabina) rather than the shuttle service which is more expensive and will only take you as far as Termini Train Station. The regional train will take you to Tiburtina Station in just over 40 minutes. Please see above to find out how to get to the apartments from there.
From Termini Train Station
By metro - From the train stations metro station, take line B (direction Rebibbia) for 4 stations and get off at Tiburtina. From here, take bus route 71 (direction S. Silvestro) for 2 stops, get off at Tiburtina/Valerio Massimo and the apartments are just a short walk away.
By bus - In order to reach the apartments by bus, walk to the main bus depot at Piazza dei Cinquecento (the main square outside the station) and take bus route 649 (direction Stazione Tiburtina (MB)) for 14 stops. Get off the Tiburtina/Valerio Massimo and the apartments are a short walk away.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, content, and informed.
If travelling from termini station i would recommend using the metro( getting off at bologna), as walking some stretches of via tiburtina can be a bit unnerving, especially at night.Anonymous

I think the caretaker of the hotel was friendly and made the stay pleasant. on first impression, i was slightly dismayed at the outlook compared to the one on the website. however, upon settling in our room, we got used to the hotel. the bus stop being just outside the hotel made it easy to get to and from the city. Bus access is very good despite location a bit far from the center. very nice contact with hôtel. there was a nice & big terrasse not mentionned on the internet. bathroom was perfect.Terrasse not very clean, beds much simple, breakfast rather poor but this was not at all a problem for us.Anonymous

The hotel was not far from centre and it was easy to get around.The picture and the description on the web gave us a great impression though the area was very dirty and smelly, the room did not look like what we saw on the web. we only had cold shower and lots of ants on the cooker and the floor. the breakfast was a dry brioch and crisp bread with instant power coffee. we were not happy! La ubicación era bastante buena, cerca del centro de roma pero en un sitio baste bien comunicado y tranquilo. la habitación era bastante amplia y completaNo nos gustó nada el hecho de que hubo días que no se hizo limpieza de la habitación, no se repuso el papel higiénico, el personal no hablaba nada de inglés, por lo que no nos entendíamos, y el tener que pagar la habitación en dinero efectivo. además, nos costó muy mucho que el taxi que nos pidio el personal para ir al aeropuerto llegara a buscarnos, y casi nos cuesta perder el avionAnonymous

Raport qualité prix excellent, personnel charmant, chambre petite mais très fonctionnelle, parfait pour un séjour ou l'on ne demande qu'un lit pour dormir et une salle de bain pour se rafraichir. si je repartais a rome, je réserverai tout de suite la meme chambre !!!L'hotel donne deux adresses sur sa feuille de réservation, ne pas chercher la via santa ciriaca, chercher l'adresse de la via tiburtina. l'hotel n'accepte pas la carte de crédit...embêtant si vous etes plafonné en retrait d'argent...BARD

Aangezien het heel erg druk was in rome, was dit voor 89 euro per nacht een redelijk alternatief aangezien we dicht bij de metro zaten en zo redelijk snel in het centrum waren. het zijn nette, basic kamers.Geen nieuw toiletpapier en ook geen nieuwe handdoeken.

De gastheer was gastvrij, behulpzaam. de kamer en badkamer waren schoon en zagen er verzorgd uit. het hotel lag redelijk dicht bij het centrum van rome.De foto´s op de site waren in zekere zin misleidend. we gingen ervan uit dat er 2 slaapkamers ter beschikking waren. het bleek 1 ruimte te zijn. tijdens het verblijf hebben we geen negatieve ervaringen gehad.Leo Van Nieuwenhuijze
