Residenza Domiziano Rome

Location of hotel was very good and central, metro was at the end of the street and a lot of attractions were within walking distance. hotel staff were very nice and helpful, explained where all sites were in relation to the hotel and recommended nearby restaurants (which were excellent).room was large and comfortable and cleaned everyday and breakfast was brought to the room with a smile each day. we really enjoyed our stay and would stay at this hotal again when we return to rome.

When we reached the hotel we were told that our room was upgraded to apartment, it was clean and the staff were extremely happy. as we went to rome first time they helped us with the tourist attractions. the hotel is central and walking distance from trevi fountain and spanish steps and the metro is just outside the street. we loved it cause we could come to the apartment to drop off our shopping and freshen up and walk up the trevi fountain and see the world go by. the food was lovely and many resturants close to the hotel.. the main shopping high street was very close to the hotel. i'd go back to the same hotel and recommend to anyone.

The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful during our stay, especially with directions, returning our rental car or making future reservations. the hotel was centrally located and very near the subway stop. i highly recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. they accommodated our need to check in early and check out late (even giving us another room to stay in for as long as we wanted). i would stay here again as the staff made me and my family feel really welcome.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are like nice apartment rooms. the location is perfect for siteseeing. i would definitaly use the hotel again.

The residenza dominziano was a little difficult to locate due to its non-descript exterior, but once we were there we found it a lovely, spacious room with pleasant staff and a homely atmosphere. the great location was easy walking distance from most attractions, with a great deal of restaurants very close. the free breakfast was also quite good.

Excellent location within 100 metres of the metro. it is within a 10 minute walk of the trevi fountain. other attractions are also easily accessible. be aware that the metro does not go into the very heart of the city centre, so you will need to either walk several miles a day (which was fine for us) or use the buses. however the metro does go to within about 1/2 mile of the vatican. on that subject the queues are huge. the best time to visit is in the afternoon. we purchased tickets from one of the tour guides in st marks square. basically the normal tickets cost 11 euros to get into the vatican museum and sistine chapel, but you will not know what you looking at. for 25 euros each (children free) you get the tour with explanation (well worthwhile) and then in addition the tour guides then get you into st peters basilica and the other parts of the vatican, which you are then left to wander on your own. the room at the residenza domiziano was a good size and easily accomodated my wife, son and myself. it had a large en-suite bathroom. the room was very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. as it only opened this year (2007) the room was immaculate. it is not a hotel in the true sense of the word. it is several rooms off a corridor on the first floor above a shop. reception is at the entrance with a buzzer entry system, manned 24 hours a day.
