The Residenza Ki is a little family run hotel located in the main centre of Rome, 50 meters from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Barberini square with the prestigious homonym building hosting up one of the most important ancient picture collection.
Furthermore, the district boasts a lot of Italian fashion boutiques, fine restaurants as well as easy access to the city's finest attractions, such as the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Campo De' Fiori.
The property's strategic position will allow you to reach in no time the most significant monuments of the city, stroll down the streets rich in art and history and have a break to the nearby romantic Villa Borghese Park, that preserves art masterpieces.
How to reach the hotel?The nearest metro station is at 100 meters from the hotel.
By car: From any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare, reachable by all the main incoming highways, follow directions to Roma centro. The hotel area is a limited traffic zone, therefore guests should leave their car in the Borghese or Ludovisi garages and reach the property by taxi.
By train: From the Roma Termini railway station take the underground line A, direction Battistini, and get off at the Barberini stop. Take then via delle Quattro Fontane. The second street on the right will lead you to via Rasella (approximately 300 meters).
From Termini Station it is also possible to find Residenza Ki walking on Via Nazionale for approximately 500 meters and turning to right on Via Quattro Fontane, then Via Rasella is the fourth street on the left side.
By airplane: Rome Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport is connected to the city by highway (to take a taxi) or by a local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Roma Termini station.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from underground line A terminus Anagnina. The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes. In order to catch up the Residenza is possible to take the bus until to the Metro line "A" stop Anagnina and therefore it can be taken to Barberini square and then be continued on foot until Via Rasella. Otherwise it is possible to use the Terravision shuttle bus from Ciampino coming down directly on Via Marsala (Termini Station) and therefore follow the indications from the Termini Station.

The location is the best you can have for those money.
the staff is friendly but that is all they are.
The rooms are not quite as described on the web, they are smaller and ours did not have a table nor safe-box.
the refrigerator in my room didn't work and it took the staff 4 days to repair it, and i stayed just 7 days there! after that it could only cool down to 14 degrees!
we were out of electricity for about 10 hours.
the shower cabin is too small and only the shower cabin has drain pipe, so if you spill water out of the cabin in the bathroom (and you will) that water has no where to go (and you make a mess of the room).
the hotel is 100% unmarked and hard to find. you have to look for the fellini inn office first.
the towels were not changed every day (once on two days i think.)
if you book in this hotel specify not to stay on the 2nd floor, because the dining area will be in front of your room, witch is plain stupid (i was lucky to be on the 1st floor).Anonymous

Room was spotless, modern and spacious. breakfast was simple but good. the majority of staff were helpful and polite, especially our housekeeper. the location was excellent! just a couple of streets away from the trevi fountaim and only 5-10 minute walk to the spanish steps.We didn't get all the room facilities that were advertised, such as safety deposit box. our satellite channels didn't all work and since we couldn't even get terrestrial and it was euro 2008, we couldn't even watch the less important games in our room at night. above all the bed was incredibly lumpy!Stevenson

Excellent location being so near to the trevi fountain and spanish steps - didn't need to use the metro to get anywhere (apart from termini to the hotel at the beginning!).
hotel rooms quite basic - but have all you need in them. fairly quiet rooms/hotel generally given the location.Difficult to find! the hotel reception is now part of another b&b group (fellini i think?) which is next door so is confusing to find. Anonymous

We stayed in a triple room and it was well-kept, spacious and very comfortable. the location is great too, a stone's throw from the hustle bustle of via del corso, yet, situated in a quiet street isolated from all the noise. good to come back to after a tiring day.Nothing to complain about.Anonymous

Well located and cleanThe room did not have a safety deposit box as described on the website. it did not have a control for television. the wardrobe rail was so high it was almost inaccessible (approx 2 metres). the rooms were immediately adjacent to the dining area, when bedroom door opened it was to dining area, and only access to bedroom was from dining area. no elevator, and bedrooms up 4 flights of stairs.Mr David Tomlinson

The hotel really is in an excellent location, within walking distance of all the main attractions. the room we had was large, with a king sized bed.When i booked the hotel, i had to fill in a box saying that we would be arriving after 8pm. i received no information on what that would mean for my check in. i emailed the hotel some days before our arrival date to ask, but did not receive a reply. when we arrived at the hotel at 9pm, the door was locked with no reply when we rang the bell. it was only because two girls who were staying in the hotel came down on their way out that we found out that there was another hotel back at the main train station that we had to check in at after 8pm. we had to go back to the train station and find this other hotel before we could check in, then return back again to the residenza ki. this is really not the sort of check in you need at 9pm with all of your baggage in tow. the hotel was not one of the cheapest ones around, so i had expected a little more for my money. the window wouldn't close, the tv didn't work, the towel rail was hanging off the wall in the bathroom, the walls were thin so it was often noisy and the breakfast was of a low standard.
