Description
Our hotel is situated in a gorgeous renaissance style building in the historical centre of Rome, in one of the city's oldest quarters, Rione Monte.
This area is well known for its handicraft shops, art galleries and typical Roman restaurants, and is also just a short walk from the main railway hub Termini station, Trevi fountain, the Colosseum, the Fori Romani, Piazza Venezia and the elegant shopping area of via Condotti.
All the rooms are large, bright, and comfortable they have TV, internet WI-FI and an en suite bathroom.
The Soggiorno Europa guest house provides guests with a high standard of service; the staff is always on hand and at your disposal 24hours a day. They aim to make you as relaxed as if you were at home.

The main railway Termini Station is within walking distance and is directly rail-linked to Fiumicino Airport and by metro and bus to Ciampino airport
The Metro Republica is near and connects easily with the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. The main bus routes of Via Nazionale with its vibrant shopping area are close at hand.
How to reach the hotel?By car: The hotel is easily reachable from any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare, connected to all main highways; follow the indications to Roma centro and then to via Nazionale.
By train: The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the Termini railway station.
By airplane: The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or by a local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Termini station (price 11,00 € per person about). The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from underground line A terminus Anagnina. The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes.

Easy to book.com said our room would have air conditioning (our major criteria for booking a room in rome because it is very hot and muggy). the room did not have air conditioning or the telephone and free welcome drinks promised byt the website. upon arrival the staff apologized and said they would call the website to ensure their information was revised but our stay (3 days long) was less than pleasant.Robert Warburton

We stayed here 4 3 days in june 2008. the hotel was situated in a quite street about ten min walk from the main tourist attractions which was exactly what we wanted . the staff were fantastic and very helpful with everything . breakfast was served in our room every morning . the room itself was clean comfortable and a good size . would highly recomend staying here !!Biljana Stojanovic

Arrived very late and that was not a problem. the whole family enjoyed the breakfast and the room was very nice, all things considered. not many places provide one room for a family of four. this is a great money saver and the room was a decent size i.e. we were not in each others way. the location was good for the train, which we did not use anyway. local shopping was also very good, with the advantage of a spar shop nearby. plenty of nice restaraunts around as well. hotel arranged for a cab to take us to the airport. we were allowed to leave our luggage after checking out, as we had the best part of the day free prior to our flight. there was also free use of the internet on a laptop in reception. that was great for keeping the children happy, as well as the large tv.Nothing comes to mind.John Beattie

Hotel location was excellent and within walking distance of the major sights. the coliseum is 10 mins walk as is the pantheon. many more sights within walking distance. there is a metro at the end of the street with two stops to the vatican city.
the hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very helpful. on arrival we were given a map and directed to all the best sights. good value for the price, i would stay here again.The appearance of the building from the outside is poor. the hotel is hidden around the back and the staircase/lift are far from grand! however once inside the hotel was very clean, tidy and modern.Maria Duque

The breakfast was really good and the staff was helpful on leading you to good locations in rome.I was very upset with the staff on the last day of my stay. their credit card machine was not working and they wouldn't accept any other form of payment besides cash. i then had to walk around rome trying to find a bank where i could take out enough money to pay for the hotel. that day they were not helpful at all.Tristan Crees

The staff were wonderful, it is located withing easy walking distance of everything that you could possibly want in rome. they provided us with an easy to use map-which was the most important thing we had with us all holiday. they gave us information on where to go and how to get there, and were on-hand 24hours a day. they made our stay extra special and i would recommend that anyone stay there if they want a comfortable room in the centre of rome. it was our 'home in rome' and we loved it.Sadly there was no air conditioning, which was alright in june (although some of those nights were sleepless due to the heat) but i cant imagine what it would be like in july/august!
also the website advertises wi-fi internet connection in every room, this is something of an overstatement. the hotel has a laptop in their lobby which you can use to surf the net, otherwise if you want to use it in your room, you may or may not be able to pick up the infrequent open wireless network that is coming from another building. so not actually internet in every room!!Anonymous

la situación, está cerca de todo. es limpio, habitación amplia, hay un ordenador para conectarse a internet. el recepcionista de la mañana habla español y es amable el agua de la ducha salÃa frÃa en un momento dado. el desayuno escaso, igual q la sala dedicada a ello.
