Description
The Retreat Appartment is situated close to the famous Spanish Steps, right in the heart of Rome where the world's most famous topmodels have walked the catwalk and close to the equally famous Barcaccia fountain, which was created by Bernini in 1627.
The apt has 2 bedrooms, one is a triple and the other a double bedroom. There is a large living room which faces the garden with television and dining area and sofas.
The Kitchen: Is fully equipt as you would expect to find in any home, including washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, iron and ironing board, cooker and oven and fridge.
The Bathroom: Is quite large in a modern style with bidet , toilet and bath shower.
Closet room: to store clothes is also available
As you can see this is a fully equipt home away from home.
The Apt is near to Rome's most important shopping streets: Via dei Condotti and Via del Babuino.
Your Stay in Rome will be extremely comfortable because all tourist sites are within walking distance!!
Leave the comfort of your accommodation in the city centre and walk up to Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Colosseum area in a few minutes. Go for a meal in the evening in Trastevere, with its abundance of bars and restaurants and stroll back home.

Next we have a wonderful living area with stylish antique furniture, small sofa and side chairs
The living room also features a large television on a japanese oak and brass sideboard.
The apartment throughout has been furnished with japanese art and pieces of antique furniture which has given the apartment a rather chic and at the same time homely look and feel.
In our living area a place has been set aside for a small round dining table with quaint antique chairs. The living area looks out onto a small balcony and over the rooftops of quaint italian courtyards
Also we have a private terrace that belongs to this apartment with plants and garden furniture enabling you to enjoy drinks and perhaps a meal.
Lastly the apartment offers a storage area for clothing and objects
Our guests receive their own keys and are completely independent to come and go as they please, without any restrictions of any kind.

The apartment was in a good location. the small terrace was pleasant to sit on for the morning time. they did make arrangements for us to ahve a taxi to the airport the last day of our stay and they were very nice and on time. the lady that did the cleaning was very nice once she got there on the first day.
The staff had forgotten i was arriving and i stood in the street trying to locate the apartment for about 2 hours since they did not answer their cell phone. then once the guy finally got there i had to wait an hour for him to change the sheet and to clean up the apartment. i had been told i could charge to my credit card but when he finally got to the apartment he said i had to pay cash which was quite alot of money and then he did not enven know how much they had quoted me. since i had the email confirmation he said i could go to the atm to ge the money. there was not emough hot water even though we did everything they told us to to get the hot water - there were only three of us. we got back to the apartment one day nad the staff person was there unloading a roll away bed. it was also very loud from street noises at night until early morning. overall it was an unpleasant stay due to the arrival problems and feeling like they were not prepared for us to be there.hacing to stand in the street for all that time and not really knowing where the apartment was ad having no one to talk to about it was not a good feeling. we finally went into the hotel located on that street - hotel central and go them to help us to call. one of the mern that worked at a store on the street finally used his cell phone to call and he finally got someone to answer the phone and told them we were waiting for help. 30 minutes after his call someone showed up to show us where to go.Mark Frass
