The hotel is housed in a splendid, fully refurished Patrician building, what was an 18th century palace, which has managed to maintain its original charm despite several refurbishments and facility upgrades.

Super location for downtown rome. it was in easy walking distance to lots of visitor sites and well served for buses and taxis. the staff, especially at the front desk, were very helpful and spoke excellent english.

I emailed in advance to tell them my mother was coeliac and asked whether they could ensure she had some food she could eat for breakfast. on the first morning, a tray of items was produced that my mother could eat. we were very impressed! also, the first room we were in was very noisy so we asked to move. the gentleman on the desk was very helpful and moved us to another room which was lovely and quiet and nicer.Heavy traffic noise.

It made our first time to rome even better! hotel location and staff was perfect. we had room 104 (quad room)and we were very impressed with how large and clean it was. our room was made up every day when we returned to the room with fresh linens. on our last day, the receptionist lined us up with a wake up call, early breakfast and a shuttle service to the airport, which all worked out great.
