When planning for you coming vacation to Russia, consider flying into Domodedovo International Airport. This airport is one of the three major airports for Moscow. In terms of cargo and passenger traffic Domodedovo is the largest airport in Russia, with just last year handling an astounding 15.37 million passengers, and literally 126,300 tonnes of cargo. In a short five months at the beginning of this year the airport saw a huge traffic growth, handling over six million in just that time.

This beautiful airport is a very short 35 kilometers (22 miles) from the center of Moscow. There are numerous activities in Moscow to keep anyone stimulated and having a great vacation. Domodedovo International Airport has connection with five of Moscow’s nine railway terminals, which makes getting to the city from the airport is convenient. There are currently three trains per day, but the frequency of this service is soon to be increasing.
