The Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity is from the early 18th century. The architect-builder was Carlo Marinuzzi. Originally, it served the Ursuline monastery. The shape of the front is quite interesting, based as it is on a Roman concept of design. . Its wavy façade is marked by six semi-columns plus a gable. The belfry dates from the post 1895 earthquake period. Jože Plečnik made some further alterations during the 1930s. The interior, however, still features works of the Baroque period, including the multi-colored marble altar by Fracesca Robba. Other notable works are the side altars by Henrik M. Löhr and paintings by Valentin Metzinger and Jacopo Palma Jr.
