Celje is a city in Slovenia, located in the Savinsjka region. As Slovenia's third largest town, Celje is both the commercial and the cultural center of Savinsjka. It's a lovely city, with verdant parks and forests dotted through and around it. The climate is mild, and there are quite a few historical attractions to be seen in Celje. Part of the city is known as Medieval Old Town, and this section of Celje lives up to its name.
