Terra Mitica brands itself as the land where ancient myths become exciting reality. The park is divided into five areas: Rome, Iberia, Greece, Aegean Islands and Egypt. These areas feature exciting rides that follow the overriding theme: expect to see the Rapids of Argos in the Aegean, mummies in Egypt, Gladiators in Rome, bulls in Iberia and Icarus in Greece. Terra Mitica has a variety of rides to thrill adults and children, all imaginatively designed and arranged according to their theme. The biggest and most popular rides in Terra Mitica include Rome’s Magnus Colossus – Europe’s longest wooden roller coaster, Flight of the Phoenix, Inferno and SynKope.
Terra Mitica provides attractions and entertainment for all members of the family; cultural spectacle is provided in shows that represent the five ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean. These events run on a daily basis and feature acrobats, athletes, musicians and stuntmen. Examples of the displays include gladiator re-enactments, a street circus, pirate battles, Egyptian dances and much more.
