Muros de Nalón is a small town on the Bay of Biscay in Asturias. The River Nalón runs through the town and gives the town an attractive river promenade as well as the pretty beach. The town has an important collection of historic buildings, the most important of which is the Palacio de Valdecarzana y Vallehermoso which dates from the 15th century. The town's central plaza is an equally ancient market place which is still a center of commerce to this day. Santa Maria church has a single nave and was build in 1783.
