City Center Felanitx

Felanitx is a small town of 16,566 permanent residents, located in southeastern Majorca, the largest of the Spanish-controlled Balearic Islands archipelago. Felanitx is one of the oldest towns in Majorca, founded in the 13th century by the Catalans who conquered the island. Parma, the bustling capital of Majorca, is only 48 kilometers away. Miquel Barcelo, a contemporary painter who has illustrated Dante with his grim, minimalistic inks, was born here in 1957. The town still feels old, as though it hasn't changed much during the last few centuries.
