Pros: Nice clean modern hotel, good sized rooms. friendly staff with good knowledge of english.
Cons: Hotel was a bit isolated. directions to hotel were not good. taxi took us to city centre to road of same name. hotel staff said that there was some confusion due to being on the very outskirts of barcelona. 30 min walk to nearest tourist bus stop, other buses closer. asked about restaurants, told nothing nearby, need a taxi. found one ourselves, 20min walk each way, el pate blau, jorge girona salgado, good local food, nice atmosphere, quiet, 3 course meal with wine £25 approx. tapas bars and other small restaurants in same road. continental breakfast 15euros seemed a bit steep. found a workers cafe round the corner, out of main entrance, bear right, up towards the steps, left just before steps, 50yds rhs. 4 bacon bagettes and coffees 17 euros. they don't speak english, even if you shout at them!!!

Pros: Great hotel with good service and facilities like pool, sauna and spa. excelent breakfast.
Cons: Its located far from the city - and there are absolutely no restaurants og shopping facilities around. however, we had the hotel bus taking us to the city tour bus, which goes all around barcelona - so its a problem that can be solved.

Pros: Good location for where i needed to be in barcelona. comfortable, clean and well kept.

Pros: Impressed with hotel overall, staff were friendly & welcoming, rooms clean and food was good.

Pros: Nice room, modern appointments, clean, good value for the money. quiet, peaceful area very near a very large and magnificent rose garden.
Cons: Finding an english speaker was sometimes a challenge. for example after several attempts to order a meal at the hotel restaurant the first day, we were finally served by the hotel manager. reception had rudimenary to fair english skills but always tried to be helpful. taxis always had to be ordered and sometimes there was a long wait (+ 30 minutes). hotel appears a short distance from diagonal, but that distance is downhill (or uphill on the way back).
